General terms and conditions of use of the online database www.materialarchiv.ch.

1 Scope

The user of www.materialarchiv.ch agrees to be bound to the terms and conditions as stated below and accepts the exclusion of warranties and liability.

The MATERIAL ARCHIV database is a long-term project. MATERIAL ARCHIV has the right to amend, change or even delete the collected data continually.

2 Information and contents of auf www.materialarchiv.ch

The contents of the database have been carefully researched, collected and compiled in cooperation with experts, specialists and specialized institutions. The persons involved are either referred to within the related data collection or are members of the MATERIAL ARCHIV association.

The database makes no claim to be complete, instead it defines itself as a continually updated information base.

The information and data on www.materialarchiv.ch claim to be first and foremost connected to the specific attributes of the materials and therefore as far as possible not product-related. If a brand name is listed this is only due the fact that

b) the brand or the product name applies exclusively to this specific material (particularly the case with composite materials).

Basically no materials, products or producers are excluded, though MATERIAL ARCHIV reserves the right to make a selection, based on the criteria of the database. No right to be listed on the site exists. Contacts to companies to obtain information and samples were based on the question of need.

Links to manufacturers, producers and suppliers are subject to sponsoring fees and can be acquired under these regulations, while MATERIAL ARCHIV reserves the right to decline a cooperation in case of unreliable references.

4 Exclusion of Warranties and Liability

MATERIAL ARCHIV disclaims any and all warranties and liability for the completeness, accuracy and up-to-dateness of the listed contents and data. Any liability of MATERIAL ARCHIV for personal injury, property damage and financial losses, which occurred due to the use of the database (data download included) and the interpretation of the contents offered, is excluded to the extent legally possible. The precise use of the listed materials has to be established by consulting the manufacturers or representatives in specialist retailers.

MATERIAL ARCHIV declines any liability for any contents of external links. The linked websites were checked with reasonable effort during the acceptance process. In case of their further development MATERIAL ARCHIV dissociates itself from any possibly illegal contents.

MATERIAL ARCHIV does not assume any solicitation requests to companies or experts.

All personal data recorded by the communication functions contact, feedback and subscription, are treated strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to any third parties. These data are used solely to transmit the requested information to the user. However, MATERIAL ARCHIV declines any responsibility for the protection of electronically transmitted data.
